Check with your company Human Resources department to see if they support charitable giving through matching gifts or payroll deductions. If Ready Set Play, Inc is not already set up at your company, we can be added with our Tax ID number: 92-3769342.

Are donations deductible?

All Kids Play is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Any monetary contributions are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt.

How is the money donated used? 

Monetary donations allow us to get more kids from under-resourced families and communities in the game by paying for registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other associated costs.

Who benefits from your financial assistance programs and what geographic area is served?

Families and communities who lack sufficient resources to pay for youth sports registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other associated costs benefit from our financial assistance program. We are currently focused on youth athletes in the Prince William County & the surrounding areas in Virginia. However, we also consider grants nationally.

How do you accept grant recipients?

Ready Set Play has a comprehensive application process that evaluates each family’s needs and situation. “We use the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services” “Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program’s” income guidelines as a household income benchmark. Grant applications are addressed on a needs and first-come, first-served basis as funds are available.

Do you accept new or used sports equipment?

In order to keep our overhead low and direct as much funding as possible toward our grant program, we currently do not accept or store new or used sports equipment. When a grant recipient needs a piece of equipment, Ready Set Play purchases the item and arranges for delivery to or pick-up by the athlete’s family.

Can I volunteer for Ready Set Play?

Yes, there are many ways to volunteer for Ready Set Play! We periodically need volunteers to help with fundraising events and interns to aid our all-volunteer staff. Students can also organize a school, team or group fundraiser to help Ready Set Play get more kids in the game.
